Understand the complete quote
Review the sell and buy asset, exact networks, provider, quote expiry, price impact, slippage and minimum received. Compare the net destination amount after network and provider fees. A good displayed exchange rate can still produce a worse outcome after the complete route is priced.
Same-chain and cross-chain routes
A same-chain swap executes on one ledger. A cross-chain route involves source confirmation and destination delivery, sometimes through several providers. Review the refund address and route conditions before signing. Keep the source hash, provider reference and destination hash when available.
Approvals and gas abstraction
An approval allows a specified contract to transfer a token. Check the spender and amount, and review allowances when finished. Gas abstraction may pay fees from the sold token on an eligible route; it does not remove the fee or apply to every send. Do not sign a permission you cannot explain.
