Native and bridged stablecoins

A stablecoin symbol can identify several different token representations. Native USDC is issued on a particular chain, while a bridged representation depends on an additional mechanism. Confirm the issuer, network and exact contract or mint. An identical price target does not make different representations interchangeable.

02

Funding through a payment provider

Fiat-to-crypto funding may involve a card processor, bank transfer or third-party on-ramp. Review the actual provider, supported country, identity checks, payment fees, exchange spread and settlement time. Choose a delivery network supported by both the provider and your receiving wallet before paying.

03

Keep the full cost visible

Separate the amount you pay, provider charges and network fees from the amount that arrives. Receiving stablecoins does not necessarily fund the native coin needed for later transfers. Issuer controls, redemption conditions and the availability of banking partners remain relevant even when a token is held in self-custody.
